Towards more eco-friendly products: Introducing less plastic in our packaging

At Onics, we are constantly looking for new ways to improve our offerings and products for our customers.

This is both in terms of the benefits of using our solutions but also in terms of the carbon footprint our activities are leaving behind.

Just as our IoT platform is designed for use in solutions that enable people to live safer and healthier lives and reduce energy consumption and environmental impact, we strive to deliver an IoT platform that has less negative impact on our environment.

A journey that is not done tomorrow but that is a sum of many actions.

New product packaging with less plastic

We are therefore excited that part of our new product packaging has now been changed from plastic to paper.

This change currently applies to some of our products on the market and not yet our full product range. But we are, of course, looking into continuing this trend so that we, in the future, will be able to deliver products that have plastic-free packaging.

It is important for us to note that this is a transition and that we are continuously working to optimize our offerings to minimize the environmental impact from our value chain.

As part of this commitment, Onics is a member of the UN Global Compact and committed to supporting the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact, including multiple environmental principles, such as principle 8 regarding initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
