The Squid.link 2X gateway is an open Linux platform including multiple wireless protocols for communication with sensors, smart plugs, smart meters, thermostats, and much more.
This modular IoT gateway can handle multiple wireless protocols simultaneously and is ready for Matter, giving you even more options for wireless integrations with this fully open standard.
The gateway includes processor power to implement even very complex local intelligence, for instance for AI and Machine Learning solutions. With the Dual Core ARM Cortex CPU, you can run complex applications or multiple applications at the same time. The gateway's memory options leave room for large data storage and logging.

Standard gateway models
We offer multiple off-the-shelf standard models for the Squid.link 2X gateway that fit most IoT solutions.
They come with pre-selected protocols and features but the packaging design, installation manuals, and labels can be customized to fit your brand. The standard models enable an extremely quick launch of your solution.
For high-volume solutions (MOQ 10.000), you are able to customize the gateways to include only the modules you need and minimize costs.

A flexible IoT gateway for a flexible custom solution
The Squid.link 2X can be equipped with Zigbee 3.0, Wireless M-Bus, Bluetooth 5.0 Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and WLAN HAN networks.
To communicate with servers and devices like smartphones, the Squid.link 2X has options for WLAN, Ethernet (to local modem) or cellular networks through a cellular module or a dual SIM card slot. The Squid.link 2X is also Matter ready with an over-the-air gateway software update.
With the Squid.link 2X gateway, you are no longer dependent on one vendor of IoT devices but can combine your Home Area Network according to your needs.
The Squid.link 2X gives you the option for several hardware extensions. For an even higher range of your solution, you can include an external antenna in the gateway. By adding a micro SD card, you can increase the flash memory of the gateway.
The Squid.link 2X is configured when put into production. Customize the appearance of the gateway according to your needs. You can choose between numerous design options to make the gateway look the way you want.

Keep all data protected with a secure gateway
The Squid.link 2X comes with several options to maximize the security of the gateway. You can choose to implement hardware-accelerated encryption with a hardware security chip to ensure that your customers’ data are protected. The offered hardware chip supports: AES (up to 256), ECC (up to 521), RSA (up to 4096), 3DES, HASH, MAC, TLS, and TPM functions.
The Squid.link 2X gateway can also include tamper protection through an accelerometer to detect movement of the device.
