Introducing the Entry Sensor 2 Pro: Open/close, temperature, and alarm monitoring

February 24, 2025

Door and window sensors have many applications in care, security, insurtech, and energy solutions. They deliver valuable data on residents’ behavior, can assist in detecting break-ins, and help optimize energy consumption.

Today, Onics is launching a new and improved version of our door and window sensors, the Entry Sensor 2 Pro.

Ideal for care, security, insurance, and energy solutions

The Entry Sensor 2 Pro is a secure and reliable sensor based on many years of development experience, making it ideal for your IoT solution.

In a care solution, you can use the device on doors, windows, medicine cabinets, and more to gain insights into residents’ behavior and detect irregularities.

Attached to doors and windows, the Entry Sensor 2 Pro can help detect intruders in a security or insurtech solution and reduce damages caused by theft.

In combination with an intelligent heating system, this entry sensor is a central part of any energy management system as it detects open windows as well as the room temperature.

Certified alarm sensor with temperature monitoring

The Entry Sensor 2 Pro can detect the opening and closing of doors and windows and monitor room temperature. The sensor is also available in an EN50131 alarm-certified version with tamper protection.

It communicates via Zigbee 3.0 and is easily integrated into your solution.

You can choose to white label the Entry Sensor 2 Pro or opt for the readily available frient devices.
